Stanserhorn Rangers
Since June 2008 the Stanserhorn Rangers are on duty. Every day one of the 2 Ranger ladies or 15 Ranger gentlemen are on duty on Mt Stanserhorn from 10 am until 4 pm. Rangers are available from the restaurant to the peak and back. They love to point out where the eagle flies, where the flowers are blooming or tell you detailed stories about Mt Stanserhorn. Stanserhorn rangers can also be booked ahead of time for a guided tour with a group. This is free of charge. In November 2008 the Stanserhorn Ranger won a Swiss Tourism Award called Milestone in the category "outstanding projects".
