From Lucerne to the Mt Stanserhorn station is just a 20 minutes train ride or a 15 minutes car drive or away. From the train station in Stans it's a five minute walk. The journey from the bottom station to the top takes 24 minutes.
By Train
It's relaxing 20 minutes train ride from the Lucerne station to Stans (Luzern – Stans – Engelberg).
By Boat/Train
Opposite the Lucerne train station you board the boat to destination Stansstad. From Stansstad you will contiue by train to Stans. The trip will take 75 minutes.
By Car
Take the highway A2 direction Gotthard, exit at Stans-Nord. Follow the direction to the town center of Stans. The Stanserhorn station will be on the right handside, opposite of the hotel Stanserhof. The ride will take approximately 15 minutes from Lucerne.
