The revolving restaurant is a self-service restaurant and is open daily during the Stanserhorn season. At lunchtime and on our public evenings on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, we are happy to serve you at your table for groups of 20 or more. We use ingredients from Switzerland and the Alpine region in our cuisine.
In addition to classics such as Schnitzel with French fries or Streckwurst with onion sauce, we prepare a fresh daily menu. A vegetarian soup of the day or a goulash soup will give you back your strength after a hike. Our house speciality is the alpine maccaronis made from 100% Swiss ingredients served in an Edelweis pot
The first revolving restaurant in Central Switzerland was opened on the Stanserhorn in 2001. Inspired by the five-star Stanserhorn mountain, the revolving restaurant was built in a star-shaped layout. The revolving restaurant has room for 200 guests, 80 of whom can sit on the revolving plate and watch the panorama pass by in 43 minutes. From Sunday to Wednesday evening, we are happy to serve you at an exclusive evening event for groups of 50 or more.
Enjoy the large selection of breads and croissants, accompanied by home-made Bircher muesli with 100 % Swiss ingredients, mountain cheese, apricot juice from the canton of Valais and much more. Everything prepared for you on a tray.
Indulge in a romantic atmosphere and enjoy a special candlelight dinner in the revolving restaurant with service.
With fresh, locally grown calf liver prepared to perfection and served with our famous butter hashbrowns as well as other culinary dishes to choose from.
Traditional and already legendary, the Älplermagronen made from regional ingredients are served in an edelweiss pot for two or more people!
Our revolving restaurant team members reach their workplace via a unique commute. Be amazed at 1,900 meters above everyday life!
