The revolving restaurant is open daily during the season.
Warm dishes are available at the following times:
Sunday to Wednesday: 11:00 am – 4:30 pm
Thursday to Saturday: 11:00 am – 9:00 pm

In 2001, the first revolving restaurant in Central Switzerland was opened on the Stanserhorn. Inspired by the "Five-Star Mountain" Stanserhorn, it was built with a star-shaped floor plan. The self-service restaurant is open daily during the Stanserhorn season. In our kitchen, we use ingredients from Switzerland and the Alpine region. The revolving restaurant offers seating for 200 guests – 80 of them can sit on the rotating platform and enjoy the panoramic views as they pass by in 44 minutes. Why exactly 44 minutes? That’s the travel time from Lucerne train station to the revolving platform on the Stanserhorn.
In addition to classics such as Schnitzel with French fries or Streckwurst with onion sauce, we prepare a fresh daily menu. A vegetarian soup of the day or a goulash soup will give you back your strength after a hike. Our house speciality is the alpine maccaronis made from 100% Swiss ingredients served in an Edelweiss pot. You can choose your own place in the restaurant. We are happy to accept table reservations for groups of 10 or more.
Take a virtual tour of the revolving restaurant now. This will give you a good idea of the space. The platform in the middle of the room rotates around the mountain world, the mountain panorama passes by leisurely as you enjoy your meal.
Enjoy two drinks, a large selection of bread and croissants, a delicious homemade Bircher muesli, mountain cheese, Valais apricot juice, butter and fine jam - all prepared for you on a tray.

With fresh, locally grown calf liver prepared to perfection and served with our famous butter hashbrowns as well as other culinary dishes to choose from.

Traditional and already legendary, the Älplermagronen made from regional ingredients are served in an edelweiss pot for two or more people!
