From June, the Stanserhorn cable car will run continuously on Thursdays from 8.15 am to 11 pm. The warm kitchen is also open until 8.30 pm. The culinary offer is sophisticated and promises informal and enjoyable evenings. Let the magic of the Alps be conjured up on your plate!
Book your table in advance for Thursday evening at the Stanserhorn revolving restaurant. As soon as you arrive at the restaurant on the Stanserhorn, you will be accompanied to your table by the catering team. Then you can choose your drinks and dinner directly from our self-service.
Our kitchen team conjures up a variety of seasonal, refreshing and down-to-earth dishes for you on Thursday evenings. Fresh Nidwalden veal liver with rösti is waiting to be tasted. Fine vegetarian dishes and the classic self-service offer are available. These range from the legendary Älplermagronen, schnitzel with french fries to the fine CabriO-Plättli. Wine lovers will also get their money's worth, as red wine is available by the glass from the magnum bottle! In addition, the regular wine assortment of open and bottled wines is also ready.
The procedure: You choose your starters and drinks at the self-service counter. You pay for these at the cash desk. There you order and pay directly for your main course. At the cash desk we will give you a number for your ordered dinner. We make a note of this number and bring the warm main course to your table as soon as it is ready.
Spontaneous guests are also very welcome on Thursday evenings on the Stanserhorn. In this case, you choose your place for dinner directly on site. Our sun terrace, the Bucher & Durrer Sääli or our two Sääli in the basement are at your disposal. If there are still free seats in the revolving restaurant, you are of course also welcome to take a seat in the revolving restaurant. Afterwards you can choose your dinner from the self-service menu as described above.
Reduced evening rate CHF 37.00 from 4.45 pm.
GA, SBB Day Card, Municipal Day Card, Swiss Travel Pass, season tickets and shareholders' tickets are valid.
The funicular and the CabriO cable car take guests up the mountain continuously.
The warm kitchen is also open all day - until 8.30 pm.
