We did it! Together with our guests, we have covered more than 40,000 kilometres this season, completing a journey around the entire globe!
More than 4,000 hikers have recorded their routes and collected kilometers. The summit circular trail was particularly popular, having been completed more than 3,400 times.
As long as the hiking trails remain open, you can continue to collect kilometres and record your hikes online or directly on site. Every registered route gives you the chance to win one of our attractive competition prizes.
We’re excited to see how many more kilometres will be added before the end of the season.

The 2026 season at Mount Stanserhorn is all about movement: Under the motto “together around the globe”, we would like to achieve a special goal together with our guests – making our way once around the globe.

Since 2012, Simon Müller has regularly hiked up the Stanserhorn. By now, the 83-year-old has reached the summit 1,572 times on foot. His personal goal for this season: reaching the 1,600 mark. But for him, it has long been about much more than the number of ascents. It is the nature, the views, the feeling of being at home and the many encounters along the way that keep bringing him back to the mountain.
